Did you ask yourself this morning, “Why did I really wake up today?”
I know that everything in this world was created by God with a Purpose. Stars show His glory and light the night sky with beauty and wonder. Your heart was designed to pump life throughout your body, and also to carry emotions that help you enjoy the colors of life. You and I were created to respond to the Divine Chase—God’s pursuit of us.
Responding to His Divine Chase gives us the energy we need to live a successful and delightful life. When we discover God’s Goodness and Generosity, we gain the motivation and momentum to achieve our destiny. Realizing this brings alive the Divine Wealth Codes and highlights the Opportunities God sends our way.
Your Life and Purpose
are sculptured
by the Emotions and Opportunities
you choose, lose or refuse.
When I contemplate the Creator’s Design and Purpose, I am fascinated by the story of Matthew in the Bible. Of Yeshua’s disciples, he is the one I can relate to the most. Matt was a businessman, enslaved by the pursuit of selfish and greedy opportunities. But when Yeshua—the Pursuer of Matt’s heart—walked into this ‘mafia’ tax collector’s booth, his real golden opportunities began.
Matt is a living proof of the Scripture: “‘For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘purposes for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a real future and a hope—an active expectation’” (Jeremiah 29:11).
Obviously, Yeshua’s vision for Matt was much greater than his own greedy choices and ambitions. This great tax swindler was chosen to be one of the twelve apostles and the author of the introductory Gospel in the New Testament.
“All things by immortal power
near or far
to each other linked are;
you canst not stir a flower without troubling a star…”
—Francis Thompson, 1859-1907
*Yeshua is the Hebrew name for Jesus
