Finding good team members is difficult, and finding a few great ones is even harder. Keeping them is what separates great leaders from all the rest. Few people quit their jobs, they quit their leaders. Staff turnover is always a good indicator of how well an organization attracts, develops, and retains good people and future leaders. Great leaders and healthy organizations are always ahead of the learning curve in retaining the best of the pack for the long haul. If good people are resigning frequently, don’t just question the one leaving examine the heart and emotional maturity of the leader they are leaving.
