What do confidence, success, fear and depression have in common?
It all starts in your mind . . .
Albert Einstein defined insanity as “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Many people work tirelessly to change their “results” – get more money, gain back their health, restore broken relationships, redeem the mistakes of the past, but . . .
In order to change the outcome, we need to get back to the core and check our thinking – our concepts – our mindset.
Our thoughts become reality. Our concepts govern our behavior.
When your mind is full of toxic thoughts, when you complain, moan and groan, when you live with unforgiveness and blame others . . . all you attract is more negativity. It’s a sick cycle.
If your mind is full of fear, you will act with fear, and expect bad things to happen. And guess what?
Our mind is a magnet. It always attracts into our lives what we give our time, energy and attention to.
“As a man thinks, so he is” (Proverbs 23:7). In other words, you are what you think. Isn’t it powerful?
The atmosphere you cultivate within you (with your thoughts, concepts, emotions) becomes the atmosphere you spread around you.
Be mindful of this: LIKE ATTRACTS LIKE.
What kind of people do you want to attract? If you want to be around people who are energetic and life-giving, you need to be such a person yourself.
And vice versa, if you want to be successful, spend time around successful people, or at least learn from them! Proverbs 13:20 says, “Walk with the wise and become wise.”
When we focus on the Lord’s goodness and generosity and believe that “He causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28), we attract the success He has planned for us.
If you want a new life, you need a new mind. A complete mind-makeover doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a process that requires commitment. Quantum Physics says that it takes a minimum of 21 days to anchor new concepts, and a minimum of 60 days to make them your daily reality!
Today I encourage you to pause and think: “What do I attract into my life? Is it life or death? Sickness or health? Success or failure?”Start a journey to a new “you” today – make a decision to renew your mind daily!
