In this raging world of demeaning comments and opinions, I want to encourage my sisters with this message.
Both Old and New Testaments are full of amazing women, who played their role in history.
Jesus needed capable women to have a successful ministry. Luke 8:2-3 calls these women by name – emphasizing how important they were to the Lord.
“And also some women… Mary who was called Magdalene… and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who contributed to Jesus and the disciples’ support out of their private means.”
Think about it: women traveling with the Lord was a big event. These women understood their calling and valued the Lord’s fellowship.
