FROM THE COACH’S CLIPBOARD
“Two of life’s greatest challenges”
Almost 2,500 years ago the Greek philosopher, Heraclitus, wrote that you cannot dip your toes into the same river twice. Our forefathers faced the same challenge, time and conditions change. What’s different today? The volume momentum and complexity of change are accelerating at light speed. How you manage change determines the effectiveness of your leadership. How you prepare your team members to invest their time and energy in handling change allows them to win where others fail.
No man can control or stop time and change. Your life as a leader consists of how you manage time and change. Time is not a renewable resource, but it is redeemable. Change is life’s only constant. Today, you are a reflection of how you have invested your time and responded to change. The key to your future is first how will invest your time, energy, and resources. Second, how will you respond to the changes in you, around you, and those moving toward you?
